5 O'Clock News: Tragedy in Denmark

http://www.nextvista.org/hamlet/The main characters in this video were a body of students. I liked the uniqueness of the project and I think the students got a lot out of creating this.
Besides the actual content in the video, I also liked how the editing was seamless. There were times where they jumped from one video clip to the next like an interview, but there were no weird jumps or awkwardness. I also loved the credits at the end. They listed each of the participants individually along with a short comedic clip of this person in action. This was humorous and creative.
In terms of a few areas which could have used more thought- the audio for one. The audio was definitely off. Their voices were moving, but not at the same rate as the sound. This could get annoying after awhile. Also, at one point in the video, there was a female discussing Ophelia's death. She was doing this, however, in front of a waterfall. The waterfall was loud, drowning out the sound of her voice. More thought could have went into the location of this particular interview, proving how important the background sounds are in a video. The last comment for this video would be that when referring to a specific piece of the text, it would have been nice to have included the text on the screen because the students decided to read it, then just flash the name of the person speaking. Since these parts were read fast, it was very difficult to make out.
